About Us

Neighborhood Yard Design (NYD) was started when neighbors and friends needed help to reimagine a worn-out yard. Unable to envision what plants/materials would look like, they needed a way to visualize the landscaping before they could begin. Most had small budgets and were willing to do the work themselves but did not know how many or what type of plants would thrive in their environment along with the amount of materials to purchase. Enter NYD. A digital design was created, visually suggesting specific plants, their location and the amount of materials required. Actually seeing a digital virtual rendering of what the landscaping would look like, motivated and inspired the homeowner to take the next step to bring their dream yard landscape to fruition.
